When someone hurts you really horribly, your first reaction is shock. Your first reaction is shock because even though we KNOW bad thing happen, we don't want to believe the people we love and trust will be the people that hurt us the worst.
When someone hurts you over and over without remorse...it becomes a decision you have to make. Especially when you still love that person because it comes natural to you to love them. Being hurt is not something you want for yourself.
When you don't want be hurt anymore and all of this pain is encompassed with your child...at some point you are forced to decide whether or not this will be your life.
You want to believe in the betterment of life...
You want to believe in it's goodness...
Yet every time you knock on it's door, no one answers.
So the only thing you can do is fight a fight which will be bloody.
Fighting isn't in your nature.
But "sometimes you have to fight to be free".
